* To make video production faster, easier, and more accessible!
* Use case as working on a documentary&#x20;
  * you might be working with a huge file, like 100gb, and you can't sensibly put that online. If you do, it will slow the process down. But if converting using ffmpeg and splitting, not so hard.
* Mac-based product
  * Can export an EDL for import into video editing software
  * Chunks into 5 minute blocks and sends to transcription service.
  * Using Electron with backbone (using jquery, underscore), etc
